Black or Silver spokes

I've been working on a little illustration to help customers decide on what spoke colour to choose now silver has (thankfully) come back into fashion:

Silver Rims Silver Spokes
Jesus
Black Rims black spokes
The Devil
Black rims silver spokes:
Dracula
Silver Rims Black Spokes...

Any suggestions?
Johnny Rotten?

It's not as bad as snowflake nonsense, but could be the same guy 25 years later?

Why does it look awful? I can only think it's historically inappropriate.
Like a deep rim on a vintage track piece 🤮

Is silver Hifi & TV's coming back into vogue then?
I hate black spokes.

Black spokes required an extra process, as they are polished already, so black costs more without adding quality or saving weight or drag.

On most bike parts, the industry was happy to push the idea of black being cool as polishing is a more expensive process than a trip to the paint shop for most components.

When black spokes started appearing they looked awful. I can deal with it on current high end wheelsets etc, but older wheels should be handbuilt & feature silver DT spokes. I guess I am saying Black spokes, to me are a dead giveaway that a wheel is pre-built.

Our custom wheel build customers still need a little persuasion to see and understand the pure beauty of a dt competition silver...🤔 and even then, many insist on black spokes anyway.

I can't stand against mainstream fashion if that's what's wanted.

Mostly modern bikes though.
Silver is more popular on older kit and modern steel.
