Love the Stars and Bars, looks like the paint damage is pretty much restricted to the back end which makes things a bit easier. Wonder what it actually went for.

One of my unicorns, I didn't realise you could get a '97 in stars n bars. I'm gutted I missed it but my bank account is better off for it!

Ernie I know you were on the hunt for one of these is it on its way to the house of Kona?

I think, correct me if I'm wrong, you could have them in whatever colour / schema you liked! Gotta be the rasta flames schema for 97; as per the catalogue, it's ace and of course has the added kudos that they disguised Hei Hei's with the same paint job.

That's the only paint scheme I really liked so I'm very pleased to have bought it. That's 3 frames now that need building, need to start getting more parts together.

i am just having a coffee and catch up on retro ...been a busy week at work..working away :| ... so this is the first time i saw this beauty for sale ...no i did not buy :facepalm: ...it would have been a tough call as i am very very happy with what i already have..
I hope the new owner treats here well

I am one to always put a positive spin on a negative... at least we know 18" stars 'n' bars do exist
