Anyone ever made one?

Right now I have my 12 Bikes leaned against each other in my garage. Its a mess! I need to do something about it and I would like to see some of you DIY Ideas of bike storage or stands!

Fire away.

Re:

I made a rolling rack that can hold about 9 bikes. I basically used the same idea as a clothing rack. Send me a PM and I'll send you pics!

Re:

12 L shaped brackets Simpson Strong tie brand, 4 wheels, I think I used deck wood (treated), and some deck screws. The hardest part was doing it alone! Because I did the two end inverted "t's" first, I had to join it to the cross beam. After that I basically spaced the hooks apart and staggered the bikes from handle bar up and handle bar down. I fit 2 on the end (you can't) see it very well....costed me about $175 CDN with taxes for supplies. Of course you will need a table saw or circular saw to cut. I did it about 3 years ago...trying to remember exactly how I did it. Someone wanted me to build them one....but never got back to me! I may market it....JK!

Re:

Can anyone suggest some homemade or cheap way of holding bikes upright, like the things they have in bike shops to display the bikes.

I have a low shed which holds 6-8 bikes and want to find a way of keeping them upright so they don't damage each other, the floor is made of deck boards ??

Re: Re:

I use to have some big plastic coated hooks screwed into 3x2 which i'd postioned about four and a half feet up across the gable end of the shed so i could up end my bikes so the hooks went through the wheels to the bikes a bit like this ;
