If only my bike/train commute was as classy as some of yours... Can I play too.? I’m new here. Does this count? Modern(ish) bike and only a glimpse of train tack….Wales last year, crossing Barmouth railway bridge just a few days before the big restoration (the bridge, not the bike). It was the end of a perfect ride and I was slightly preoccupied with another older bike purchase.

Well you are in the bikes up to 1997 section so this bike is a bit too young if I see it right. It's a very nice bike though, what is it and how happy are you with the Maguras?
If you have one or more bikes from before 1997 then let us see them. That's what we're here for.

Thank you and sorry about the modern bike. It’s a Kent Eriksen (Moots) so at least it has some heritage. Yes, 2012, so not really old…..but it’s feels old to me.

Those Maguras work quite well but not good by modern standards. I’ve neglected them so much for the past ten years but they’re still doing very well.

Promise I’ll post some pictures of my old bikes when I’m feeling brave enough…
