It's a great ride in either direction and you can get a full 14kms out of Cambridge off-road (it's ridable to Horseheath).
It crosses the Icknield Way between Linton and Balsham (which actually features my favourite bridge of this variety, but I don't currently have a picture of my bike on it. A foot bridge that spans the entire M11/A11 junction (at Gt Chesterford) and issues in to a muddy path hidden in a hedge on both sides. It's sort of bonkers but when you realise that the Icknield way has been there since at least the Iron Age it sort of deserves it!)
Anyway, by way of an attempt to make up for that here's the crossing back over the A11 (about 10kms up from the first pic) also on a farm track bridge (that also crosses the A14 a bit further on too).
