Riding around Lydbrook and Goodrich, kerne Bridge, very handsome, 1825:

Interestingly the toll was
"1d for every person crossing the bridge riding on or in a wheeled vehicle"
And also:
"1d for every ass"

the old railway bridge at Lydbrook, sadly recently lost its deck:

Looking at the main road bridge built in the 1990's And the old one which went"BOOOM" in August 1944.

The Germans had it all ready for demolition to destroy it in their own time,but Mother nature set it off in a storm with a lighting strike !

Göhrener Viadukt Saxony, Germany
Completed in 1871, then 512 metres long and 68 metres high.
Today it is still 267 metres long and used for train traffic between Chemnitz and Leipzig.
