Hi - I'm looking to acquire a hardtail mountain bike predominately for trail riding with the kids (they are 5 and 7 and enjoying things immensely - Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park, Lotts Wood, the Lookout Centre in Bracknell etc).
I'm a roadie predominately, and generally ride a 58cm top tube, 60cm (c-t) seat tube on the road. I'm 6'1" with a 33cm inside leg measurement (at least that is when I'm buying trousers!). I believe I'm looking for a 19" bike (tho this is a total guess!).
The bike would have to be kept in the garden (under cover mind - lean to) so it doesn't have to be pristine - we currently have between myself and the wife 7 bikes in the cellar and there just aint any more room.
I'm based in SW London.
I'm open to suggestions, although pretty clueless about mountain bikes and their kit.
