BoTM Bike of The Month September 2022 - nominations

Bike of The Month
Thought I’d have a go here and enter my Raleigh Lizard…
I have strived to keep the bike in its factory spec, and it is dated May 1990.

The bike is in excellent condition, with the original Cheng Shin tyres, steel rims with original reflectors, pedals, frame decals, Shimano SIS gears, thumb shifts, bottle rack (with original water bottle), Shimano cantilever brakes with Lee Chi levers, front & rear reflectors, all outer cables, handlebar grips and Raleigh branded saddle.
I have added a couple of popular accessories from the era in the way of a NOS neon green Mt Zefal pump, and a set of lime green Ever Ready ‘Night Rider’ lights. These make the bike ‘pop’ and finish it off nicely.
The only non original parts on the bike are stainless steel inner cables.

That’s a blast from the past! I recall many of them in the school bike sheds :)

But can we have a pic of it the ‘right’ way around please?…

That is an impressive light package, very cool to see it mounted. It really matches the pump and frame nicely. I also love the reflectors, what a unique style.
Once A Hero is right, we need to see the other side, that's where all the good bits are!

Another great month already. I think I'm leaning Litespeed. Although that Marin Team FRS is a dream bike of mine too. And that Paramount is awesome. Don't see those everyday...

Other side is posted, plus there are some more pics on the link to my other post about my bike.👍
