TWO PICTURES maximum please everyone!

And lets get a sunn on here! Even a bmix would get my vote at this stage!

The Gilles Berthoud of Landsbee will probably win the race  . Serious competition will be unlikely to find :( . Even manufacturers such as Lapierre, Look and Sun can't play in this League .

Would you guys consider a "french paint scheme" as a "strong tie"?
Like Ritchey Team Fade?

Yes, kinda like that; same colours painted in the same way :) But after Daniel putting his Berthoud up in here I guess there´s no more need for that

Mhmmm, might take a chance at POTM

Friendly greetings

1992 Gilles Berthoud

Probably there is no better month for this bike than this :)

Two years ago I was allowed to buy this beautiful fillet brazed Gilles Berthoud from a good friend, I have changed it a little bit and now it is one of my favorite bikes :)

Gilles Berthoud has actually built only trekking bikes and racing bikes, but he has also built 6 MTB frame sets, one of which was this. The other 5 were years long lost, because they were sold at a trade show years ago to a dealer, but that's another story ...

The noble Frenchman was set up with a simple Shimano XT 730/5 group, so that the attachments do not detract from the beauty of the filigree frame ...

The frame and fork have been soldered together by Gilles Berthoud from Vitus Rocky spécial CrMo steel tubes. In lugged bottom bracket, the rest and the fork are fillet brazed.

That was the Frenchman and myself, we wish you a great BOTM spécial French Conection

best regards
Gilles Berthoud & Daniel

I don't know what it is, and I usually don't like this sort of style of bike, but there is something wonderful about this bike. It's beautiful!

Re:

Here is my 1988 MBK Tracker Hight Tech specially built for the 25th anniversary of 1st MTB World Championsphip in France.
The frame is built with a Colombus offroad double butted tube set with inexternal welding.
Built with XT M730 complet group set, Mavic M6 Oxygen rim, Turbo saddle, HiteRite, Mathauser brake pad, power grips.
I like ride with it, good uphill and fun downhill !!!
