Happy new year all. We'll start 2025 with a standard month with next month being a special, theme TBC. I'm sure a few people have been finishing off their builds over the festive period, so now's the time to show them off...

Useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. @al's 1995 weird bouncy thing
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!
Link to all the rules http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules

Nominations thread will run for the entire month of January. Entries submitted after January 31st will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

Afternoon all, welcome to my first and probably only submission to a BOTM, Seca Blue’s 1989 (I think) Roberts Phantom.
I say Phantom, but this was built to my spec at the time, hence the sloping top tube and straight forks.
This is a working bike so not not looking for a completely period correct ride, 98% will do me.

Hi all. Going to start 2025 by entering this one into BOTM.

boy"O"boy's 1991 Raleigh Dynatech Endeavour

Looking through my previous entries - I've realized that this one has never been entered.

I have 2 of these rare Dynatechs - but both share the same build thread. This build was finished back in 2021. The restoration from bare metal respray to completion starts on page 8.
Like #1 - this 2nd one is fully Campagnolo Equipped including the Electa saddle but has thumb shifters and silver levers over the catalogue spec.

First try for BotM and hope you all like this. @InFaasion S’bike “807” 1992, fully restored with a mix of new and almost as new parts. Frame repainted in signal red (like the lower end S’bike where) and fresh decals applied but because of the non existing Suntour XC Pro build and colour I mixed up the 708 into another number. Fork R/S Mag20 in very good condition and to complete the looks a set of nos Rigida 3 spoke wheels. Really love how this bike came together.

Looking forward to your votes IMG_9164.jpeg IMG_9165.jpeg
