Happy to stand corrected on how you sourced the frame, and theres no doubt in my mind, my above comment still stands....it really is that good.

But again, other than you not having won YET, how does this bike fit the Criteria...? Surely say your Velocitech Mountain Machine would be Perfect, this is Perhaps One of "the" most desirable bikes on the internet and given who built it, and that he was Part of such a worldwide Movement, I just cant see why it wouldn't Win against the Absolute Best of the Best....?

I may be Wrong but there is nothing UNDERDOG about it.

I may be Wrong,....but.....,

Now I can agree with you on those points. I wasn't interpreting the "Underdog Special" as anything other than a member who hasn't won. This bike would by no means be considered a "underdog" and I would feel comfortable throwing this build in the ring any month. That's why I made the disclaimer that a moderator can feel free to pull this entry if they feel it doesn't fit.

The ONLY reason I choose this bike is because this is the bike I just finished.... last month was the Alpinestar Ti-Mega and I am sure you can guess what I will be entering next month if you follow my build threads.... I work on one bike at a time and then post it up here the following month after I finish it.

Mate you do work hard, and you have a stunning collection, you also have the means and the staff and resources, and you are in the right part of the world to be able to accomplish all of it.

You have every right to enter every month, im not a Mod, its up to you and them, but what you have there is sooo special, it needs no accolade, nor does what you do...

It deserves Botm, But Underdog.....No way.

I Stand Corrected, BOTY..., Christ that bike should have been a "feature" bike imho.

Re:

Thank you Sinnerman, I appreciate that. Like I said prior: I didn't interpret the definition of this month's theme of "Underdog" referring specifically to the bikes as underdogs. I understood it as those who have yet to win the comp. If this was the case I would have certainly entered our Velocitech.

Maybe it isn't you, maybe I interpreted it wrong, but I thought the competition was about Voting for Bicycles, not voting for the members who own them.

Again I agree, it should always be about the bike.

John's description of: "this month will be an 'underdog' special, entries only open to those who have not won the contest before" doesn't really mention anything about the bikes as underdogs but specifically says underdogs are those who have not won this comp before.

John, feel free to pull my entry if I interpreted you incorrectly. I will gladly refrain from entering the Breezer until next month if I am wrong.

FatMikeyNYC's 1983 Fat Chance #138 x-Chris Chance

With all the interest in Chris' re-startup of Fat Chance, I'd like to enter one of his early, fillet brazed personal bikes this month in the spirit of Chris being an "underdog" back then and perhaps again now with his current Fat Chance Bikes venture.
