Why is it some people take exception to TPC being part of BOTM ?
Regardless of TPC's business, his passion for retrobikes is evident.
It's almost a kind of discrimination saying because you have a thriving business, and seemingly endless funds, you are different from the average retrobike builder.
Would people view the breezer differently if it was done by an average person ?
Most probably.
I think TPC is a valuable member of this community.

TPC seems to offer a lot of high quality cool bike content to this site that I enjoy reading about. In return he seems to get hammered over and over again. Keeps coming back for more though. I like old bikes and if someone is passionate about their bikes, right on. Nick seems to be passionate and as a bonus, he comes to the table with some really sweet stuff. I have looked at TPC's auctions just enough to realize that old MTB parts is a small part of the stuff they move.

Re:

So we are voting for a member then, and an underdog it seems .......pmsl.

The bike seems irrelevant it seems. What a win this will be.

Personally I never said I would vote for the breezer as in my opinion it doesn't even come close to an underdog.
But you can't say TPC is not playing by the rules can you ?
This is all getting a bit old now.

Re:

It's never old to maximise on free publicity, the only shocking fact will be it wins against an. £8 Raleigh, the Bike gets my vote cause it's the best bike, despite the jackinory. But this is no competition worthy of the bike

Re:

Nah we need to get a room, for private negotiations over the price, before the propaganda and the win doubles the value......lol
