Wish I had a juicier story for you Eric!

Back story is back story, helps paint the picture. One owner bikes are great!

Can you guys bring it to K'Ville this year anyway, I want to ride it! Yours and Belson's are seriously having me search for one now...unless a Toad comes along first.

Only thing that looks out of place on yours are the M730 6spd shifters. If the original owner ran them, then it is what it is, but M732 7spd came out in 89 and if this bike is a 90, then those are out of place. Especially if the RD is M732/5 and there's a 7spd cassette out back.
(Sorry, high level of quality bikes/competition has me nit picking)

We are absolutely bringing it out to Keysville and you are welcome to ride it or race it for that matter. You will be stoked on it, the geometry is dialed. If you haven't owned and ridden one yet, you definitely have to put it on the bucket list.

Re: shifters. These are 6spd shifters matched to a 6 speed 13-28 cassette. Shifts like a dream and is exactly how it came from the og owner who never swapped it out. Based off the wear and tear I believe him.

Any more comments on the build lets take over to the build thread and keep this thread dedicated to the BoTM entries.

I find commenting on other bikes entered in a BOTM that I have entered stressful.

I love The Pro's Closet's Catalyst - a lot - but I think I love mine more. I guess the restoration & build process, and the driving theme that inspired me to build mine is why I love it so much - The decades of lust, the sad state it was in when I found it, and the hours and sweat I put into bringing it back to it former glory.

As I said - nothing against anyone else - I just love mine best

And, I'm stickler for details like period-correct front brake cable hangers...

A regular back rubbing month - self promoting band of brothers
Im not sure if that comment is directed towards me or not lol. all im trying to do is show off a bike I am proud of and maybe inspire people to think about the lesser know bikes like kuwahara. I apologize if I offended any one with my multiple posts just trying to show the better pics of the bike since I think the first ones did not do it justice :( . that being said I wish every one the best of luck on the botm and I will not repost again in order to cut back on unnecessary posts and to not annoy any one :D

Please define self-promoting band of brothers, Yeti-man.

All this month's entrants are proud of our builds, and we've entered them in a contest. At what point are we supposed to not care, or try to do our best?

Am I missing something - Some hidden code, or secret handshake?!?!

I just finished building a bike I'm super excited about, and am stoked to have others equally excited about it - so I'm proud to display it here.

After reading this thread in from the beginning, it seems you feel like you're the victim of some sort of conspiracy - well, whether or not you are, I'm not one of the ones conspiring against you - and I'd wager that no other entrant has a beef with you - so let's move on and have a little fun, shall we!!
