As for the Smoke on the front, take a look at many old issues of MBUK, Smokes were common place on the front. Especially before the Dart was available! :)

Indeed - I've got at two, scratch that, three Diamond Backs that came stock with Smokes on front and rear.

Yep, I think that the Smoke was around for two years before the Dart came out.

Tossing another Brodie into the ring!

The Pro's Closet's 1990 Brodie Catalyst

Note the OG Gaterblade Front Fork!

You have my vote so far Wadsy !

FWIW , I always used Smokes fore and aft , pity they are so damn expensive now  , or I'd still be running 'em

Studio shots are great and that brodie really is ace but It would be much better if it was matched with an outdoor "in its natural environment" shot... Woods, mud even a bridleway.

Just my opinion so don't take offence but to me just those high quality pics in the BOTM makes a bike soulless when you look at them like that.

I totally disagree, I think it enables us to see a bike far better.
Sadly not everyone has a business with a Pro photographer and studio on the payroll....

Class bike to be fair, as are soooo many this month.
