Just didn't want it to get lost and forgotten in the mix of gator blades and professional studio shots…. :?

A closed mouth gathers no foot. ;)

Just needed to get it off my chest so people remember that there are other bikes have been nominated, not just the three Brodies….

Don't worry the fact that there are 3 Brodies in the comp is to other competitors advantage. The Brodie vote is split between 3!

Looking forward to seeing all the bikes in a list so I can make my mind up...

You ought to contribute with an entry yourself Neil, practice makes perfect.... ;)

I have posted both road and mtb entries in the past Carl, and received no votes, as very few people 'get' my bikes.

I get my fun riding my bikes, and the closest they get to a polish and wax, is a hosepipe at the end of a ride and a rub down with a rag.

As for practice, I try to ride every other day, either road or mtb.

I get them Neil, even if others don't.
And by the sounds of it, you would get the riders vote for sure. ;)

I do try and spend a little more time fettling after every ride though, a little bit of Paintwork polishing pays dividends in the end..... ;)

Otherwise they all end up looking like the tat we buy on ebay at the beginning of our journeys, eventually giving way to rust holes and nonsense that becomes costly to sort at frame builders.

Foot and Mouth for the bicycle....so to speak....lol.

I should have said a rub down with an oily rag.

You are welcome to inspect the tat on the wall of my garage any time, you won't find any rust.... well, not on the bikes anyway; the rider is a different matter entirely.

You clearly misunderstood. I was making ref to all of us when purchasing on ebay Neil, not just you.
And im sure both your Dave Lloyd and your Roberts weren't looked after any better than sum of mine and were indeed riddled with rust holes requiring Expensive restoration when you bought them. Hence my point.

So back to BOTM..

Isn't it about time a Crackin'fail took the win? Has it ever even happened on Retrobike? If not, why not? Here's my legendary 1991 SE2000 full suspension 'ahem'. Its retro, its innovative, its a lust machine from back in the day, and its got pink on it..... what more could you want??

Thanks in advance for your vote
