Bike Blenheim Palace 2012

Ladies & Gents,
I'm a member of the organising commitee for Bike Blenheim Palace. In 2012 the event is going to be expanded to 2 days & we are looking to include more cycling disciplines. I wondered whether any Retrobikers might want to get involved?

The events that might be of interest include:
1. 20km TT on the closed Blenheim park roads
2. 40km off road sportive
3. 1km Sprint up the main drive to the palace

We can create a Retrobike category for each race.

I'd also be keen to hear if you would like to have a stand & show of some of your lovely metal.

Some of you may have seen coverage of the Brompton World Championships that are hosted at BBP every year. Here is some info about the event:

I seem to recall (although I never raced it) that the 2010 edition had a cyclo-cross race. Is this likely to make a comeback or does it not fit with Bike Blenheim's new calendar slot?

Cyclocross

Hi David,
Cyclocross will be making a return in 2012! Details are not confirmed yet of this event apart from it definitely being included. It will probably use part of the 40km XC circuit.
