Bik. Advanced composite mountain bike?

dI have inherited a mountain “Bik”. Made by aegis/ graphite technology inc. what is known about these bikes. Im not finding a whole lot of information. Though it seems they where at the forefront of the tech at the time

That's cool! Build is shit, but the frame is was made by Graphite Technologies out of Van Buren, Maine, USA. They started making tennis rackets and then moved into composite bike frames. They made the first Trek 5000 carbon frame before they developed OCLV. Their in house "brand" was Bik, and depending on the market, CarbonBik, MountainBik, etc. Around 91, they re-branded as Aegis and made bikes under that name until they closed in 2003. I've owned, and still own many.

Thanks for the input I plan on doing some upgrades on it and using as a second bike For Road and light off-road use. Does it have any value?The only reason I ask is maybe I should just put it away as a wall hanger

Does it have any value?

Not really. It's a pretty esoteric brand and the parts are mid to low end. You have $300 there tops.
