Interested in RC30's

Hi, I'm interested in the non-re-welded RC30's. Can you please tell me the headset crown to dropout centre distance please (just need to check OK for my RC200). How bad is the chrome pitting? Also, would you be willing (or able) to fit the 1" steerer tube from the RC35's instead? Ta, Matt

It's 395mm for the axle to crown. Yes can swap the crown/steerer I'll try and get some close ups of the pitting for you if you give me a few minutes.

RC30's

Thanks for quick reply. Photos of pitting would be great. Bought my RC200 a few weeks ago. Its currently got Rond susp forks which are 440mm. This is too long for sure but was thinking 425mm would be more appropriate - do you happen to know what RC200's were designed for?

I don't, but ask in a separate thread and you'll surely get a reply (probably within 5 mins!!)

I imagine if the frame is of the era of the forks they should be a match for each other.
