What exactly are the Manitou kits, got an old fork on a 97 Rockhopper and think it might be a Spyder that needs livening up a bit.
Will it replace the existing internals?

Yes, this kit will replace your old internals. Just take it off, clean, lube and assemble this new one.

Well, it´s very cold, for what we are used to... :) Without rain it´s even colder, so i´m already waiting for another summer season...

I still haven´t got a project for those purple parts (Ringle, Critical, X-lite), but i´m going to keep them for now. If i change my mind, i´ll PM you.
