Clifford Retro Guru Jan 16, 2014 #11 Love big rings, I use 28, 38 and 48 on my MTB 11-28 on the rear with a long cage mech. Can keep up with some roadies and then clock up some miles on the South Downs with no problems. Nothing worse than running out of gears! Good luck
