Re:

Hello,

Would you know if the Regina freewheel would fit a Campag thread? I know it's a long shot, but worth an ask.

If so, I may be tempted by it.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi, its hard to tell on my small screen, has the 600 rear mech got any scuffs on it? has it been crashed on? if its clean i will take it please :)

Re:

Hi,

I think it is ISO threaded, but not really sure how to check.

I'm assuming the Campag standard would have been Italian threaded?

Thanks,

Phil

Hi,

The 600 mech has a few scratches, but I wouldn't say it has been crashed on. I'll try to take a better pic tomorrow for you.

Re:

Think I'll take a chance on the Regina freewheel.

Can I sort out with you tomorrow, please?

Thanks,

Mike

Re:

Try threading it onto an English thread adjustable BB cup, if you have one handy. it's the same thread- 1.37"x24

A Campag. hub usually has its thread dimensions inscribed around the 'shoulder'. If it was sold in UK, chances are it is 1.37"x24

Btw I would strongly advise against the corollary experiment of attempting to verify the thread of a hub by screwing it into the non-drive side of an English BB shell..

..But you can use the English adjustable cup as an improvised thread gauge, held against the hub thread. If the threads interlock all the way across then chances are it's the same thread.

I love this place, always learning!
Thank you. Sadly, I don't actually have the hub yet, to see. It's on a bike that's on the way to me!
