Hi!
I present my Bianchi Rekord 748 first type from 1978.
This bike was not top of the line but it was still a very good quality bike.
With this model, the brand Bianchi wanted to conquer the field of semi-PRO bike.
The project failed because the bike was made with too much care and too many details and costs were too high ...
If you look at the bike you notice fine details like pantos and components marked "Bianchi" almost everywhere !!
Furthermore the frame (Columbus tubes) is done in with care.
On this bike I did a complete renovation, including paint and new graphics.
All parts are original and marked "Bianhi" except the rear derailleur should be a "nuovo gran sport"
but I wanted to embellish the bike with a "nuovo record" pat.78.
