Hi to all!
after years of reading i've finally decide to present my bikes
This is my all-round road bike, it's a '74 (or '75 ?) Bianchi Rekord745 with some "new" components that ensure me to ride 200-300km every week...
after the winter and spring period with a pair of schwalbe cx-pro 30mm tyres, I return to some classic road tires (23mm)...

I use it without any problem for a ride of 80-100km...
saturday I've tryed to ride it on a 15% uphill, and, with 42 (unfortunately campy crankset is configured in 53-42) and rear 21, I managed to climb to the top...
the only two flaws are its weight and my poor training

I'm happy to rewrite here with some new upgrades on my old Bianchi...
I've bought a new pair of wheels and a new 10v cassette and a rear mech...
wheelset: Shimano r501 black 23mm profile
cassette: 11-25 10v Shimano Tiagra
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Tiagra short cage 10v

columbus did heaps of different tubing ,may i be so bold as to ask what this one is ?

Don't know about this bike, but I restored a Rekord that had Columbus Zeta tubing.

Sold it to my brother in law (for less than it cost me to restore it...). He left it locked up at the station and it got pinched. :cry:

yeah, i reckon celeste is a real eye catcher to thieves, ive got a picture of tony rominger on one somewhere.
they are so steeped in racing history, its that unforgettable celeste,a really stunning classic colour
ive known people to buy them just cause they liked the colour.
ive got similar lugs on a frame ive just aquired from the 70/s what i mean is they are well spearpointed.i never used to notice such details untill recently, but ive always really liked stems
and thought that they were important furniture[please excuse my use of wording]
panto'd stems i really like as well as those 60/s and earlier lugged ones, so wonderfully ornate and in keeping
nothing finer with hand cut lugs to me, purely aesthetic i know but maybe sculpture and art to me.
of course, its always important in mho for a stem to be in keeping with a bike of classic lines and im sure on the grounds of required length then temporary measures are sort.

stem is an 90's chrono stem...the original 3t tourist has a crack, and the only way to use this kind of handlebar was using a stem with a removable front-cap... Deda murex was too expensive and I find it from an old bike-shop

i don't know what tube-set were used to built this frameset... there aren't any columbus or similar sticker...the only graphic that are refeared to the tubeset are "Tubi calibrati 1-20" but i don't know anything else... this bike was the entry-level of bianchi in 1974-75, and probably they use cheaper tubeset
