Best way to touch up paint chips and marks??

Hey, I'm just wonder if you folk can help me out, I'm doing up a frame that has a good few scratches and marks, it's not bad enough to need a re spray but I'd like to tidy it up. What's the best way and what to use?, I've heard a few things like nail varnish, marker pen, and paint? Help would be great. Thanks Rob

Model paint is useful for this kind of thing, as is a car touch up pen if you can find one in the right colour.
