Best tyres for sandy pine forest terrain?

I use Maxxis Larsen TT tyres and ride on these sorts of trails all the time. They're great. I'm running the 2.0's at the moment but used to have the 1.9's, to be honest once the 2.0's wear out I will go back to the 1.9's. They're a whole heap narrower and faster on the track and offer just as much grip.

On loosish sand there's no substitute for volume. 2.3" Conti Speed Kings work well for me, and roll pretty well when the ground hardens up.

If the sand is very loose you might consider Schwalbe Racing Raplhs in 2.4 at a low pressure. It will surprise you how fast that rolls,

Use Ralphs at Chicksands and at Thetford, both sandy pine forests. Amazingly quick with loads of grip. If it gets a bit sticky and wet bang a Nobby Nic on the front.

Ta!

I ride in Swinley Forest mainly, where the sand is mostly compacted, rather than beach like.

It seems like there are plenty of more modern options. Need to hunt out some deals.....

I ride a lot in loose sand/pine woods, after a lot of trial and error I settled with Schwalbe Nobby Nics, 2.4 front , 2.25 rear
