Best Tools I Ever Bought

Far better with a sturdy simple item.

The human eye can detect irregularity in a rim as manufactured, so there's little point in those extra dials
unless you're a do-it-by-numbers
kind of person.

Our stands have adjustment for dish built in, but I think everyone uses the dishing tool instead, it can't give the wrong answer.
I’ve found that all my bikes have built in wheel holders, perfect for wheel building and trueing duties. You can even flip the wheel round to check dishing! Sturdy, but not very simple - there’s loads of additional features like steering and gears, and even a saddle which I struggle to use when trueing wheels.
