Thinking of buying this but there's no makers name etc. It looks pretty decent, any ideas? There's a muc off decal on it, but that's for decoration I reckon!

Looks flimsy and overly complex.
A jig for an engineer not a mechanic.😉
You'll struggle to fit axles other than qr
Yeah it's I just discovered it's an Ali express knock off. I've got an 1920s cast iron French job which does the trick for most wheels, just goes to show the great Chinese bicycle parts and tools swindle goes from strength to strength!

Far better with a sturdy simple item.

The human eye can detect irregularity in a rim as manufactured, so there's little point in those extra dials
unless you're a do-it-by-numbers
kind of person.

Our stands have adjustment for dish built in, but I think everyone uses the dishing tool instead, it can't give the wrong answer.
