If you're riding Brooks anyway, then it's a substantial weight saving.

Iirc the titanium Brooks had a rep for snapping. I think we only ever sold one, and that's the same number of broken ones I've seen
(Don't think it was the same saddle)
Age, level of use, misuse or what

Brooks use or at least used to use commercially-pure Ti from IMI which is significantly weaker than the 3Al 2.5V Ti used on most saddles. Some even used the stronger 6Al 4V.
I love a Swift Ti though, but don’t feel confident using it off road - it don’t half creak and moan!

If you like a bit of titanium on your saddle how about this, - the whole shell’s made from Ti plate.
It was branded as Gipiemme, Iscaselle, and maybe a couple of others. Feels hard as a brick initially but isn’t too bad when you get used to it. Around 150g
