It's Dutch I believe. And they know a thing or two about bicycles.
You get an extra 10-15mm of backwards adjustment on the rails compared to a standard brooks & thicker leather.

I've had 3, currently only have 2 and I've put tens of thousands of all weather miles on one of these and it's still great & only needed a slight re-tension on a couple of occasions.

Tourer is their lightweight one I think. About 560g if memory serves me right.

You want to get a couple hundred grams lighter? Eat less

Totally agree with that sentiment: I cycle with various older Ti Flites, Turbo, SLR, Rolls, Supercorsa, so I'm not particularly fussy, but the SLK remains the most comfortable.

Just fitted another Brooks cambium 17 last week . Excellent saddle, no breaking in period. Comfort straight out the box .
I still use a Brooks leather for summer rides. Love the leather b17 and the pro I have had for years.

A new old stock ideale is in the shed waiting to be fitted.

I have this on my summer bike without guards for those lovely summer days when you get drenched in heavy rain and a leather saddle will get soaked from underneath very quickly.

I find it significantly inferior to a good leather saddle, but have to agree that cambies are not too bad.
