Best pads for Hope Mono Mini?

I've got a set of Hope Mono Mini 2004 brakes on my Marin; they've just been refurbed by Hope and supplied with new Hope-branded organic pads.

Which organic pads are the go-to for these brakes? What's everyone on here using?

Are Kool Stop a decent upgrade from stock Hope pads?

Cheers!

Hope......

In fact, i've found anything noticeably better than the hope pads are usually more expensive!

Thanks, I’ll ride the new Hope pads for now.

Was looking at the ‘Kevlar’ pads from Discobrakes; do these offer any appreciable benefit over Hope organic?

I have to agree there :) and I've got a micrometer and many other pad makers seem to fail to have both pads at the same thickness. And in some cases you dont need a micrometer, a ruler is just as good  Hope have been very consistent in their kit.

Depends what you are looking for, bite/feel, durability, ultimate power.......

I tend to stick to either original hope or the goodridge sintered and ceramic.
They last long enough that saving a few quid is neither here nor their (i usually get a full season out of a set)

FYI, Hope pads are made by Galfer, and by all accounts their own brand pads are the same/better.

Thanks!

To be honest, the OEM Hope organic pads supplied as part of a full refurb by Hope of my Mono Minis are getting better and better as they bed in further.

Will keep them till they wear out.
