Best Modern Helmet with Retro(ish) looks?

I want a new helmet for offroad use. My S Works Prevail is great for summer and is feather light. But it does have a crap chin strap and sometimes I'd like a more sturdy peak than just a cycling cap? And possibly greater protection. Equally I don't want something with a super deep back, but something that could be used for road?

Starting things off with Troy Lee. Always wanted an Edge as a kid.

Prefer the looks of the Flowline (SE) to the A3, maybe because it's not so deep at the back?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks. Fell and hit the bavk of my head on a rock a few rides ago and it could have been my ear instead.

I’m buying my wife and myself a mtn bike style helmet.

Hope you're OK! I've only cracked a helmet twice, once on road and once off. The damage to the helmet was enough to convince me it was more than worth wearing one.

I’m fine thanks. Just another bruise.
Can’t imagine not wearing a helmet. Our road helmets do not have the ear protection mtn style helmets have.
