Best modern 26 rim brake rim

I'm very happy with the Ryde Andra 40: 25mm internal width and very strong. Obviously not light, and not available in silver...

The Ryde Zac 421 has a 21mm internal width and also comes in silver, a good compromise.

I have Andra on the tandem but they're heavy. Rude Zac 421 looks good.

Ah, I see, building them yourself. Sun Rhyno Lite are known for meeting the width criteria.

Yeah, but they're on a tandem. And I don't think they're that much worse than the Araya 1.75 that was on there before.

Oh, I love them on my tandem. Just not on a solo unloaded bike.

As mentioned already, Kinlin ADHN are a good choice. I also like Velocity Cliffhangers. They are heavy but are one of the very few 26" rim brake tubeless ready rims around.

I built a wheelset with the DTSwiss 535. Very affordable, decent weight, not very wide though at 19mm. I run them tubeless after taping them and they hold up ok for a year now.
