Best bike stand?

I built this out of recycled pipe and fittings from different plumbing and heating jobs. It works for most all of my needs and the cost was right.

Do your plumber mates take a look at it, place a finger on their chin, shake their head and go 'tsk, this'll be pricey'

Thanks for the comments on my copper stand. All of the parts were old and used pulled out of remodeled homes. I just un-sweated the fitting, cleaned them up, and built this. The only cost might be some flux, soldier, and mapp gas.... and 3-4 hours of my labor.

I dont have anything in the base, it's pretty wide both ways, so it is stable. However, your idea is good, so I might try it in the future. Thanks

I install and service radiant floor heat and re pipe boilers... as well as some plumbing. My work friends could care less. I've been thinking about building another one, with a few design changes. If I do, I will post it up when it gets built.

I have a feedback elite too . Can't recommend it though , if you need to ask what stand , your bikes aren't good enough for it

A bit flexy but it weighs fook all , takes moments to set up and get the bike hanging from it and packs away in seconds .

For fast convenience it can't be beaten but it depends what you want from a stand .

I use the "Hollywood" Bike rack I use on the back of the car.
Strapped to the roof trusses in the garage or if it's sunny, on the fence.

As a bonus it folds out of the way when not in use and means I can always find it when we are going on a trip. Best bike thing I have that's not an actual bike.
I have a workbench as well that is an old solid oak table my neighbours kids had drawn all over so they threw it out. I caught it.

Picked up a Park PCS-9 from Go Outdoors this weekend (£85 but i also got a staff discount through a friend)

Seams fine and stable for my tinkering, expensive for a few bits of tube really.
