Puch were fairly well represented around where I grew up. They always seemed well made but heavy. The one that sticks in my mind is the Prima super 12 in matt black with gold lining. Very JPS.

I can remember a kid at school having a Puch Free Spirit which was the first 12 speed I ever saw, it put my nose out slightly as I had just bought a Peugeot 10 speed which seemed like the ultimate until he turned up with that.

Until you tried to pick it up I had a Carlton Criterium which was 12 speed. My next bike was a 5 speed CB.
