I had one that colour (bought later in life when I got into collecting Choppers). The mini Grifter

Those saddles never faired or aged well though!!!

Classic Raleigh stretching the longevity of a model for as long as it could by simply updating colours and style branding to keep up with latest trends (sci-fi, hi-tech & futuristic) and certain touchpoints (such as saddle).

Same handlebar pad (PVC with press-studs) as their early Burners before they moved to woven polyester and velcro fixings.

This is far more interesting than job hunting which is what I'm supposed to be doing!

Yes, sadly!

Was made redundant 2 weeks before Christmas (along everyone else in the company) and redundancy ends 5th March so frantically contacting people for potential work. No real permanent positions out there (especially as I moved away from London!) so looks like I'll become a freelance contractor which is far from ideal, but long term means I can work direct with clients to potentially earn more money. Last thing I needed at the moment, but need to get on with it.

FYI I'm a Product/Industrial designer hence I might go into work lingo when talking/describing about elements of bikes and their design...
