Here are a couple of photos of my Benotto, cleaned up and ready for sunny, dry days - forecast is looking good for tomorrow.

I should have given some details on the bike. The frame is from around 1978/79. After a bit of online research I'd assume it to be a model 3000 built from Columbus SL with diamond chain stays, "B" cut out bottom bracket and campag dropouts. Previously it was the "nickel beige" colour listed in old Benotto brochures.
As for the kit, that's a bit of a mix of parts I like, some more for their aesthetics than their function. The Nuovo Record seat post and Simplex shifters are the only parts that remain from the original set up. I love Modolo and won these Speedys on ebay recently, brand new in box complete with cables. Super Record mechs have been swapped for Dura Ace rear and 600 front. Hubs are 30 year old record and still silky smooth, rims are mid 90s Open Pros.
Cheers,
Bruno
