Belt drive bikes

Thanks but I'm after a shop site that has the parts listed with UK prices :(

All I ever seem to find are the companies sites enthusing the virtues of their product or the oem bikes ; we must be able to get the parts by now simply , if the large companies are making bikes based on the stuff .

For once I saw a bike on show with a Rohloff and a Hamersmidt with a belt drive. Don't know if that's usefull. I think beltdrive will be the future for some bikes, though I don't know if it's best for MTB's, perhaps for city-cycles...

Never the less, I like the idea...

James Bowthorpe broke Mark Beaumont's round the world cycling record earlier this year on a belt driven Santos bike with a Rohloff hub.
He knocked the previous 195 day record down to 176 days.
That was 18,602 miles with just one belt change after an initial mis-alignment. No reported problems with the belt drive system after that.
