Been offered a Raleigh Montage

Not the first gen u-braked but the slightly later Canti'd one fitted with XCE I think, is it worth having for nothing?

You get a cromo frame with good geometry, a good handling rigid bike
Specially worth it if your getting it for nothing, make a good pub bike at least

501 steel, thick paint, and rigid geometry- I'd say it's worth having. But then I'm prejudiced - I've got a canti'd one, too. Picked it up from the local bike charidy place for £30. It's coming along a treat.
