Beaut Nishiki e-stay in Paignton Devon

I don't suppose you've got an XL framed Alien ACX you want to sell me, have you? 😀

No, sorry.
18" or larger is too big for me, so I generally don't buy them that big, unless for parts, and I usually pass on them if they're too pricey for my tastes.
If you ever do find one for sale in your size, be sure to check the aluminum front triangle for cracks.
There is a silver lining dealing with cracked aluminum bikes from Nishiki, and that is that some of them were never ridden again after they cracked, so they sport some excellent, lightly-used XT parts.
I seem to find an average of one ACX per year, and all but a couple of them were cracked.

I’ve got a frame/stem/handlebar/seatpost that I’ll be selling soon. It was cracked (no surprise) when I picked it up, so it‘s had a new seat tube section and a head tube repair by the most excellent danson67 so needs a respray/decals. Let me know if you’re interested.

That ACX is absolutely beautiful! (but sadly way too tall for me)
Any chance we'll see a build/repair thread about it with pics?
I'm guessing danson67's repair makes it stronger than the original.
I'm very curious to see how it holds up if it's ever ridden very hard.
There may be hope for all of these cracked aluminum Nishiki frames yet (and a lot of business for danson67)

Thanks Frank, I’ll post some photos of the repair on the original thread when I get round to it 👍🏻. Danson67 did a fantastic job, he also added a chamfer to the inside of the head tube which apparently reduces the chance of it cracking again.
