Be couragous : show your disgraceful garage or man cave !

To give me courage to clear that mess up, I'll show the present state, so that I'll feel obliged to clear the mess during Christmas time

I think we could do a vote on the worst mess

I reckon that's the winner already!

When was the last time you used your machine tools?

We have a winner! ;)

Mine is full of dead mice (and no doubt some live ones), roof held together by cobwebs, and mushrooms growing out one of the walls. I hate it, replacement cave coming in the new year if the management approve the capital investment.

Well , dont' think it was that long ago ! I am resourceful, you can use it when you displace the mess on it to the edge of the big mess !
but I agree it was to drill a couple of holes on something small !

and I am using the truing stand Preciray VAR regularly - you get accustomed to lack of space and move accordingly

and if you look carefully, you'll see it is an organized mess , with translucid small drawers where you can get to the lower level , just lifting a few drawers  It's more scary than inefficient :xmas-cool:

and its only part of the story - other areas in the garage are a bit better organized ! ;)

Re:

The depressing thing about this thread is that even the grubbiest man cave photo leaves me longing - all I got is the under stair cupboard and a couple of drawers.

are they just riders garages or do you run bike repairs business from them

let's say that as I am looking for a job, I do a lot of "mechanics" not to fall into despair !
as being over 50, here in France, is like a vintage 50 years old bike - demand is low

I repair and build a few bikes for friends or restore some hence the mount of spare parts on the bench :?
but I am sorry to say the amount of work needed makes the work not economical

The grass is always greener - I'd love to be allowed my bikes indoors, all lovely and warm.

Re:

...and I'd love a cave to call my own, with space to move about and rows after rows of shiny tools in racks. Scuse me, I'm getting excited. ;)
