Bb query- shimano raceface compatibility

Can you use a raceface chainset on a shimano bb? It's the external bearing type.

Any advice appreciated

I use a Shimano HT2 chainset in a RF X-Type BB so I think so

I ran a RaceFace X Type in an XT bottom bracket till it wore out.

Yes, Shimano and raceface chainsets and external bottom brackets are interchangeable.
