BB help please

Hello friends, I have these beautiful, highly polished white industries cranks, as far as i know they're considered 'compact drive', the ring bcd is 94mm, they're square taper, and i want to fit them to my Pace RC300 frame, i'll probably only be running one chainring

so, my question is, what length axle do i need?

i'm used to more modern bearing cups and old school octalink xtr BBs,

this is a first for me

any help appreciated.

well as an example, middleburn use a 113mm axle, regardless of bb shell size, and then using the middle ring position should give a correct chain line for a single ring set up, i'd imagine the white industry would be similar. if you have a used bb you can try, in whatever length, you could put it in, try it, and see whether you need to go narrower or wider.

I ran WI cranks happily with anywhere between 107 and 113. I would run 107 for a single ring mounted in the outer position.

Which WI cranks? Pictures?

But try above first, Keith 107/110* and then 113 if old sugino ones, more recent best to check their site.

Sugino stuff (sugino, coda, Ritchey, WI) is usually 110 iirc.
Of course if you pull them in, and can with the chainstays, you may be able to use the outer ring position.
