bb for Kona cindercone 1995

Hi, just need to know what size bb I would need to put in my Kona 1995. I've heard the shimano un54 works well but what size would I need? I am very new to building bikes so any advice or tips would be great!!

Yes, a UN54 would be fine and you have a 68mm shell, but the axle length you need depends on what cranks you're using. If you still have the original Sugino Impel then a 68/113 is ideal but a 68/110 will also be ok.

Pretty sure I have one in the right size you can have for buttons if you like, will likely be UN51,2,3or4, 68x110or113... Fiver to cover postage?

Quite possibly came out of the Sugino Impels that I took off a 93 'Cone recently...

There aren't a lot of square taper modern cranks anymore, but White Industries makes a square-taper crank:

If you need a new chainset, it would be best to start with the chainset and then select a bb to suit that.
