Yes indeed, the bike is based on Roche's 87 World Champ winning bike..

Battaglin bikes

I was the official importer for Battaglin bikes in the 80;s when Roche roade for them.
All the frames, no matter what frame tubing. received exactly the same painting and chrome plating, so all the Carrera team bike coloured frames looked the same apart from the tubing labels and the seat post size.
But in the 80's not many people bought 'off the peg' frames prefering to have them built to order by a Uk frame builder.
25 years later people realize the quality of Battaglin frames, for sure on a par with any of the other Italian builders

I dare not disturb this prestigious signature...so the bike is on display in my studio where all my friends and family can admire it...and they all do!
