Basso decals

I am restoring my Basso at the moment (and built it up with modern parts :shock: ), the one thing missing were decals. So I did them myself. I am not claiming perfection here, but they should be at least equal to the repros I found on the net. They also differred over the time (even frames of the same year had different ones) and might not match your frame. But maybe work as a template. Feel free to use them, better them, what ever you like... Cheers

hi well done, i cannot see much wrong with them.it would be great if you could do a little thread
on how you did it inc suitable materials and that multiple coloured one cant have been that easy to achieve ?

Having fitted a bought set, these are a fine job. What are you making them from?

my idea is,it might be just as easy to run 6 off as 2 so in the case of my lemond which i don't
want to laquer. in the unfortunate circumstance of one getting faded or damaged.
simply wip it off and replace it.

Result isn't too bad, i'd say? Had them printed in a shop where they do window lettering, car wrapping and things like that. These are actually misprints, because their machine cut off parts of the outline, but hard to notice (especially when they are out of focus ). Next time i'd opt for golden (you can't print gold in cmyk) foil and drop the outline, or find a different shop...But overall i'm pleased with them.

ah i see .you printed off the artwork. i thought you meant you made them!do the letters come out
individually or on a strip.if a strip is there water proof clear film there-an all in one jobby ?
how did the head badge come out?

I only reproduced the lettering/design with Illustrator (mostly Inkscape). Letters or stickers are individual, waterproof and uv resistant. Yet no pic of the head badge. Maybe tomorrow. Cheers
