Barracuda A2X 1993

Firstly and slightly late: Welcome to the site. I've sent you a pm with as much as I know. Mark who runs the barracudabicycles website will surely know some more. It looks like an awesome frame and was Barracudas top of the range bike in 94.

Here is a link to the catalogue on the barracudabicycles.com website.

Hey all,

Yep, Barracuda made that frame between 92 and 94. I believe that it was indeed a Yeti creation, as I've yet to find reference to another framebuilder who made large numbers of production bikes for them during that time period.

It's their elite bike of that period, and is a treasure. They're known to crack at the seatpost clamp.

Please take some time to register at the Barracuda site and share some pics of this beauty!

I've updated the spec list and here is a mock up build. I have nearly all the parts but want to give the frame a good polish and apply the decals first.

Me too.. The Easton frame was as good as it got in 94. In 95, they came out with the "Ultimate" which was likely the same frame, just without the dominant "Easton" advertising attached..

My wish list:

95 A2FX
92 Easton
95 Ultimate

Just had a baby- my first :D Owen Pitt 8lbs 11oz.

massive congratulations :D :D

Owen looks alright too ;)

seriously though mate, well done.

on a side note, everything is fixed at my end, just need to chat to Gil again.

rare to see this brand :D
I didn't know that Chris Herting welded for them.

Why not a lsa Muhic replica ? :D

Here is a pic of a Lisa Muhich replica that Barracuda sold- TBH I didn't even think of it. My frame was welded at Yeti and not Chris Herting I think Chris did some prototypes and some team frames. I am stuck between 2 paths with this build.
