I am selling my Custom built Original A2V. It was built in the winter and spring of 94'/95'. The bike built from Barracuda was bought by a friend who worked at a bike shop, he wanted the component package (shimano xt) and fork, which I recall was a Manitou. I rode this Bike hard for about 4 years, and then sporadically till 2008, when I built a full suspension rig. I am 5'10" 160lbs. This is a great trail bike, light, nimble, and fun. I would still ride it if not for a bad back, I need more suspension than the F3 provides. This bike has a couple of custom, perhaps unique features, one being the double compound bent rear brake routing noodle, the original design took the cable through a plastic sleeve inserted in the seat tube eyelet. The other is a plate which allows the mounting of a Avid BB7 caliper on the AMP Fork with a 160mm rotor. The shifter cables are Gore Ride On's. I have a link to quite a few pictures and plan on taking more. I would be happy to take any specific photos as requested. A few parts have been replaced over the years, both rims, rear hub, the original Suntour Grease Guard pedals, chainrings and cassettes. I just completed a complete overhaul of the bike. All part were broken down completely, cleaned, inspected, lubed and reassembled.I also have many of the original manual and some receipts from the build. It is ready to ride.
Thanks for looking

I think you'll struggle to sell the bike at that price. Take it apart and list parts separately on ebay and you should get something like $800.

You are spot on with that assessment. Seems the retro community is about rebuilding and restoration, which I know is fun and all consuming. But it does me no good trying to sell this bike. I hate to tear it down, I have been lovingly maintaining my Cuda for many years. But I need the $ at this point. Sad. If anyone has any interest in any of the parts, please let me know. Thanks
