Well the 950 was collected by it's new owner yesterday - who it seems has quite the early steel Trek collection, including other 950s in different sizes. Pleased it has found the right kind of home

To follow up … this rides beautifully .. cleaned some 30 year old mud off the chain , added a quick cleat saddle pack and some grips , then some fat tyres and lubed it . Currently rolling up and down the north Kent coast . Just need some original bars now . Thanks to once a hero for looking after it until it reached its destiny as my go to 950…
