My visit to Madison, Wisconsin was very snowy (I'd never seen such huge piles of ploughed road-snow) - I guess they lash loadsa salt on the roads and that poor thing has felt it by the looks of it
 
Yep, it's been on the Bay for quite a while. Cost prohibitive to get it to the UK, despite cheap purchase price. You're right @TreaderSteve it has studded tyres (or tires!) so must be been out in them mucky conditions.

Lovely bike, very rare in the UK, but also WAY too big for me, but still like looking! ;)

Last year I ended up stripping down one of these, same size as in this listing at the bike project I volunteer for, sadly the only thing worth saving was the Shimano U brake, which is now in use on my 1992 Bravado. I felt kind of sad we couldn't save it, it was badly rusted in places and a stuck seatpost!
