Being a student in London in the late 80's was great. Whatever type of music you liked, it was there, usually went to a couple of gigs a week. God bless the student grant :LOL:

Two I'll never forget were seeing the Stone Roses play at Middlesex Poly to around 30 people, they were pretty poor...little did we know.
But undoubtedly the best was seeing The Four Horsemen aka Metallica play at The Marquee club in 1990. A small venue, 500 ish people and f*cking loud.
